Thoughts On Senior Class is a question and answer segment on the Raider Reader. It is all about commonly asked questions on this year’s senior class. Questions will be asked to many teachers and staff in the Blue Ridge High School.

Role(s): Teacher 

Have you had members of the senior class throughout all 4 years of their high school careers?

“Yes, and some students in my AP Statistics class I have had for two or more years of their high school careers.”

Do you think the senior class is ready to graduate and move on to more schooling or career opportunities?:

“Yes, I do think the senior class is ready to graduate and more schooling or career opportunities. This senior class seemed very diverse in their interests, abilities, passions, and skills, and I think their flexibility will serve them well.”

Is it sad to watch them go?:

“It is always sad to watch the senior class leave, but it is equally exciting to see what they accomplish beyond highschool!” 

Is there some senior class members you’re gonna miss more than others?:

“I will especially miss the seniors in my AP statistics class since I get to work with them throughout their last year of high school and they prepare for the future.”

What are some of your favorite memories from or with this year’s senior class?:

“As the National Honor Society adviser, I enjoy learning about the many ways our seniors volunteer and help in the greater school community.” 

Anything else you’d like to add about this year’s senior class, or advice for next year’s upcoming senior class?:

“Take advantage of any opportunities to reach out to underclassmen and be a mentor. Everyone has something to share.”

Peyton Gelinger is a senior in High School. She is a player for the blue ridge Lady raiders varsity  volleyball team and a competitive dancer. When she is not busy doing her school work along with sports Peyton loves to spend time with her family and friends. She planes to attend college to major is Sociology / Human services At Indiana University Of Pennsylvania.
