Junior and senior year are some of the most important years of school. Not everyone is always prepared for these years. This week multiple juniors and seniors were asked what the freshman and sophomores should expect entering these last two years of high school.
Stephanie Smith was one of the first seniors talked to. Her advice was not to over pack your schedule, but to make your last year as easy on yourself as possible. Smith also explained that junior year will be difficult for absolutely no reason, no matter the classes you take.
Tiffani Henke was the next senior interviewed. Henke stated that senior year comes a lot quicker than you think. She recommends not procrastinating when it comes to looking at colleges.
The last senior interviewed was Jordan Wiegand. Wiegand stated that based on her experience, juniors should expect a lot of stress throughout their last two years.
Among the seniors, a handful of juniors were interviewed. Carli Thornton, one of the juniors interviewed, said there’s going to be lots of work. She also advised against taking the honors classes.
The last student interviewed was junior Kendall Farthing. Her advice to the freshman and sophomores is “do your homework, don’t stress over the little things, and split up your homework to make things easier.”
