Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an amazing movie because of the action-packed plot. The director, Andy Serkis, has learned from the mistakes made in the first movie and dispensed with long, detailed explanations about characters. Instead, he amped up the humor, leaning into the funny and flirtatious dynamic between Venom and Brock, which is fun to watch.
The plot is quite straightforward, revolving around the serial killer Cletus Kasady getting infected by Carnage symbiote. He tries to get his revenge on Brock by destroying the whole city. There are lots of wonderful action scenes filmed with well choreographed CGI. There were also many improvements from the first movie, including several comical scenes like the end of the argument between Brock and Venom.
The cast is brilliantly chosen. The main cast are Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, and Naomie Harris. Tom Hardy’s performance in the movie as Brock was phenomenal.Woody Harrelson and Naomie Harris were also great additions to the cast.
The runtime of the movie is 97 minutes, which is shorter than most Marvel movies. Despite this, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an amazing movie. I would recommend this movie to any Marvel fans. I would not recommend this movie for young children due to language and violence. I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars.
