The BR GeoRaiderz, the school’s geocaching club, will be heading to Eales Preserve on Monday, October 24, 2022.
The club is advised by BR history teacher Benjamin Orner, and membership is open to students grades 7-12.
According to Orner, “this trip has a lot to offer in terms of numerous geocaches, a complex trail system, and diverse terrain.”
Orner adds, “Club members will have plenty of time to ‘appreciate the scenic views’ and also add to our total number of geocaches found.”
Many students at BR look forward to the annual Geocaching trips. There are usually two each year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
“This is the last year for a large group of my cachers, so I am glad for the opportunity to be able to hike with them a couple more times before they head out into the real world,” says Orner.
To become a member of this club you must be selected to join.
