Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit

By: James Goff / Music Specialist

Finally a review for something you’ve probably heard of but like only if you aren’t a total poser. Courtney Barnett is an Australian goddess with a couple of dope LPs, and this one is the most recent. Her lyrics are pretty wild and her guitar is simple, jangly, and downright dank. She has multiple KEXP’s, both of which are crazy. Her NPR Tiny Desk session is wild. Her music is really good, like if the Front Bottoms had good voices and knew how to play music.

Favorite Track: They’re all mad good, Pedestrian at Best is pretty fun.

8.9/10
