As the 2021 to 2022 school year begins for Jacob Birtch, he is faced up against the fact that his last soccer season has finally come. For many students in Jacobs position this is a happy yet sad celebratory event.
Jacob Birtch has shared how he feels about this being his last year explained why he got into the sport in the first place. Stating that “It was an opportunity to take and a new way to make friends and meet new people. You should always take the opportunity that is given to you.” To Jake’s knowledge hes been playing sport since he was born. His favorite coach is Michelle Conklin from when he was younger playing his all time favorite sport Soccer. The position that he plays in mainly defense during soccer while keeping the joy alive for soccer he also has a favorite position while participating in Track and Field during the spring which is Pole Vaulting.
His Favorite Quote which he heard from a Coach one day is “Play like a champ!”
