Shawn Bailey’s senior year at Blue Ridge is coming to an end, but he has plans for after high school that include working in the gas company. One day Bailey hopes to work for Cabot Oil and Gas, a gas company stationed country-wide. Shawn has already started achieving his goals by securing an internship with Cabot Oil and Gas. Even though the gas company can take him out of this area he would like to prefer to stay in the area.
Shawn Bailey got interested in the gas company after some of his friends went to Lackawanna College of Natural Gas and Petroleum, which made him interested in this career path.
Bailey knows that the future ahead of him, with his job and everyday life, is going to be hard but he will work hard to achieve his goals.
Shawn’s dream job does include working within a gas company, but he says he would either want to be a part of the company or run his own company one day.
When Bailey was asked to advise the underclassmen he said, “Pay attention and don’t mess around–buckle down.”
