Senior Feature: Olivia Phillips

Senior Olivia Phillips plans to attend college and get a degree in architectual engineering.

“I want to study something that interests me and get a good job.”

Phillips, who says she loves to run, is a member of the school’s cross country (7th-12th) and track and field (7th-12th) teams.

She also plays a part in the school’s clubs, SADD (9th-12th), NHS (10th-12th) and science club (11th-12th).

Olivia’s favorite high school memories are going on school trips with the cross country team and band.

“It is fun to get out of school for the day and hang out with friends.”

R.R. What will you miss most from Blue Ridge High School?

O.P. I will miss seeing my friends everyday.

R.R. Who is your favorite teacher, and why?

O.P. My favorite teacher is Mr. Lorusso because he always does a lot for the school and is always here to help you out.

R.R. What is your favorite class this year?

O.P. My favorite class is gym.

R.R. What is your favorite lunch from the school’s cafeteria?

O.P. My favorite school lunch is pasta.

R.R. Do you have any advice for underclassmen?

O.P. Get your work done on time.
