Senior Feature: Lance Heeman

A senior here at Blue Ridge, Lance Heeman, while still in high school he is attending Elk Lake Vo-tech to get a jump start on his career of becoming a pipeline welder.

After Heeman graduates would like to own his own Fabrication shop (FAB) which is where you work with metal welding and putting things together with measurements and levels.

It is going to take a lot of hard work and dedication to get where he wants to get in the future, but he is ready to put it all in.

Throughout his time at Blue Ridge, Heeman has participated in baseball (3 years), and basketball (2 years).

Heeman dream job would include to be a pipeline welder or own his Fabrication shop, which is why he is going to Vo-Tech to achieve these dreams. It will take him 10- 15 years to complete the FAB.
