Blue Ridge senior, Kory Flynn, has his plans set after he graduates. He plans to go into the gas company field, while finishing up his time at Lackawanna College of Petroleum and Natural Gas, in hopes of one day getting his dream job with Cabot. He’s decided if he can’t get with Cabot he will accept any job that comes to him. Since being in the gas company involves travel he is excited to go and meet new people, and seeing what the world is like outside of Susquehanna County. For now though, Flynn is excited for the next step in his life. He is going to start working at a job that he enjoys, and he says “It’s something that I’ve been looking for.”
During his time at Blue Ridge, Flynn participated in National Honor Society (one year) and the Great Bend Fire Company for four years. Flynn says is advice to underclassmen is: “Stay focused and work towards your goal in life because it is worth it in the long term.”
