By: Abby Laude/Senior Feature Editor

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” – Thomas A. Edison

Senior Kelsi Howe’s future plans are to attend SUNY Broome to major in marketing management and sales. At college, she plans on playing club volleyball and joining various clubs at the college.

At Blue Ridge High School, she was involved in National Honors Society (3 years), Prom Committee (1 year), SADD (4 years), Science Club (1 year), FBLA (1 year), and Leo Club (4 years).

She was also a part of Volleyball (4 years) and Softball (4 years).

Howe’s favorite high school memories are the pep rallies and sports games that she has participated in and the ones where she was a spectator. She says, “I like the school spirit and the excitement that games bring.”

After graduation, Howe is going to miss the school events including sports games, pep rallies, and holiday assemblies.

Her mentor was her entire family. She continued to explain that her family was always supportive of her and pushed her to do her best.

Howe’s favorite class was Geometry and Ceramics because geometry was an easy class she excelled in and ceramics was a class she was allowed to be creative in and allowed her to do whatever she wanted.

Her favorite school lunch is crispy chicken wrap and spiedie sub.

Howe’s advice to underclassmen is don’t stress over things you can’t control and do not take things so seriously.
