Senior Feature: Hannah Snedaker

By: Kate Scott/Freshman Writer

Hannah Snedaker plans to attend Binghamton University after graduation and major in psychology.

She says she realized what she she wanted to do last year.

“I took the introduction to psychology class and I really liked it.”

Even as she plans for the future, Snedaker says that Blue Ridge will always be part of who she is.

“I have many great memories from high school, but my best memories are of sitting in the library with Hanna McCarthy during study halls.”

She believes that her family and Hanna McCarthy have really been there for her throughout high school.

“Hanna has helped me with my homework, and I have a very supportive family.”

Snedaker is a very involved student at BR. She has participated in track and field for four years, basketball for one year, and has been involved in theater throughout both middle and high school.

Additionally, Snedaker is in the National Honor Society (two years), Leo Club (six years), Geocaching (six years), Science Club (two years), and she is treasurer of SADD Club (three years).

As she looks at leaving her high school years behind, Snedaker says: “Something I will miss most from high school is the community and my friends that I have grown up with.”
