Senior Feature: Gracey Hinkley

Gracey Hinkley plans to attend Coastal Carolina University in the fall of 2023. She will be majoring in biology with the goal of eventually becoming an orthopedic surgeon.

According to Hinkley when asked her favorite memories, “Softball season and getting to spend time with my team was my favorite.”

Hinkley says, “Hailey Draizen, my best friend helped me through high school.”

She will miss playing softball, volleyball, and basketball the most.

Hinkely’s advice for the underclassmen is, “Get involved in as much as you can because it’ll be gone before you know it.”

Throughout her four years of high school, Gracey was involved in Leo Club. She was the president for two years, vice president for one year, and secretary for one year. She was also involved in SADD for four years, Student Council for four years (president this year), NHS for four years, Geocaching for four years, Envirothon for two years, Prom Committee for one year, Scholastic Bowl for two years, Science Club for one year, and FBLA for two years.

Grace always loved to write which is what led her to taking journalism. She works very hard in school and is always studying. Outside of school Grace loves to spend her time outdoors and with friends and family. During the summer you will find Grace on her horse either on a trail ride or at a horse show.
