Senior Feature: Connor Mills

By: Rayne Glover/ Junior Writer and Social Media Director

“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try” -John F Kennedy

Connor Mills is a senior this year at Blue Ridge, and within his last 4 years here, he has gotten a lot accomplished. Connor has been a part of Student Council President for 4 years, a SADD member for 4 years (President for 2), a member of Scholastic Bowl for 4 years (President for 2), Varsity Soccer Captain for 3 years, Varsity Track and Field for 4 years, Envirothon for 4 years, (Vice President for 2 years), and National Honor Society for 4 years (President 1 year). Though Mills has had a lot on his plate in the past, he says he might try to join another club or two; something like SADD or Student Council.

Connor’s plans after High School are to go to college, where he is going is currently undecided, and major in economics with a minor or dual-major in business. His dream job for the future is to be a judge. He believes the next few years of his life will be more involved and specialized to what interests.

Connor Mills’ advice for the underclassman this year is, “High School is fun if you do it for you. Take the classes you want to, join the clubs that interest you.”
