Senior Feature: Cameron Phelps

By: Rayne Glover/Junior Writer and Social Media Director

“Keep moving forward, everything happens for a reason.” -Unknown

Cameron Phelps, a senior of Blue Ridge High School, has decided she wants to attend Culinary school after 2021. Her dream job is to own her own restaurant and serve big celebrities and well known icons. In her past years at Blue Ridge, she has participated in softball and basketball. After she is done with cooking, Phelps would like to participate in a small group to shoot around and play basketball with, though the last time she played, her season was cut short due to shin splints.

Cameron anticipates that college will be rough at the start, but she’ll get the hang of it. She also has the same mindset for the underclassmen of Blue Ridge, “Keep pushing, it gets easier as it goes on,” says Phelps, “Keep in contact with your friends from school.”
