“Thoughts On Senior Class” is a Q and A segment on the Raider Reader. It is all about commonly asked questions on this year’s senior class. Questions will be asked to many teachers and staff in Blue Ridge High School.
Mrs. Sanders
Roles(s): Emotional Support
Have you had members of the senior class through all four years of their high school careers?:
“No, I have had them for 2 years.”
Do you think the senior class is ready to graduate and move on to further schooling or career opportunities?:
“Yes, I think so. Specifically my students may need additional support once out of school (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).”
Is it sad to watch them go?:
“Yes, I’ll miss them, but I’m excited to see where life takes them all.“
Is there some senior class members you’re going to miss more than others?:
“Deegan Lee. He was my student, and a very special young man; I’ve enjoyed having him in my class.”
What are some of your favorite memories from or with this year’s senior class?:
“Seeing them grow and mature overtime, helping to make smarter decisions for themselves and applying coping strategies we’ve talked about in class.”
Anything else you’d like to add about this year’s senior class, or advice for next year’s upcoming senior class?:
“Best of luck; don’t settle for mediocrity!”
