Senior interviews at Blue Ridge High School are scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2023.
As senior interviews quickly approach, it’s necessary to know how to prepare.
On interview morning, arrive to school wearing professional, clean clothing. This includes dress pants or an appropriate dress or skirt, a button up shirt or a blouse, and dress shoes or heels.
Keep in mind that your interview outfit should follow the school district’s dress code, linked here.
Don’t go into the interview without thinking about the questions you may be asked. In fact, you should practice answers to possible interview questions. For basic interview questions click here; for the interviewer interview questions click here.
In turn, prepare questions to ask the interviewer. It’s always good to have these questions ready to demonstrate active engagement and to impress the interviewer.
Try not to stress excessively; take your time while answering. If you are having a hard time answering a specific questions, try restating the question. Then answer to the best of your ability.
Go over the expected questions with a guardian or friend. This will help you prepare to be quick on your toes.
