Are you looking for a healthy after school or anytime snack idea? This Greek yogurt peanut butter dip is my new favorite snack!
Greek yogurt is definitely one versatile food. Greek yogurt can be used in anything: smoothies, baking, and more. Plain Greek yogurt is also a great substitute for sour cream. It’s very healthy for you too. Most types of Greek yogurt contain 0% fat and up to 12 grams of protein.
You only need five ingredients to make this healthy dip:
- One tablespoon peanut butter
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- One teaspoon vanilla extract
- One six ounce cup of vanilla or plain Greek yogurt
- One tablespoon honey (optional)
I prefer Chobani’s Simply 100 Vanilla Greek yogurt. This yogurt has no fat, 12 grams of protein. This variety also has only seven grams of sugar, which is half of the amount of sugar of Chobani’s competitor, Activia. Mix these ingredients together and then it is ready to eat. Some fun foods to dip in this snack are pretzels, crackers, apple slices and bananas.

This is a fun snack for young chefs to make because they can learn about portions, measurements and healthy eating!
