“Thoughts On Senior Class” is a Q and A segment on the Raider Reader. It is all about commonly asked questions on this year’s senior class. Questions will be asked to many teachers and staff in Blue Ridge High School.
Role(s): Band Teacher
Have you had members of the senior class throughout all 4 years of their high school careers?
“Yes. I’ve had Madison Swisher, Liberty Graves, KayLeen Conklin, Gavin Rosa, Kyle Maginley, Morgan Mansfield, Savannah Glover, and Walter Donahue for seven years – since 6th grade.”
Do you think the senior class is ready to graduate and move on to more schooling or career opportunities?:
“As a class? Just kidding. Yes I do. I expect great things from this group.”
Is it sad to watch them go?:
“As always, some yes. But it’s always exciting to prepare them for their next journeys.”
Is there some senior class members you’re going miss more than others?:
“Yes. And I’ll leave it at that.”
What are some of your favorite memories from or with this year’s senior class?:
“Probably our ‘adventurous’ music department trip to Florida in 2019. Also, this year’s senior trip is shaping up to be quite memorable.”
Anything else you’d like to add about this year’s senior class, or advice for next year’s upcoming senior class?:
“Best of luck in all that you do, thank you for all that you’ve brought to our school and community, and don’t be strangers!”
