Juniors, it May Be Time to Register for Your SATs

Mrs. Paula Finn, high school guidance counselor, urges that “any junior or senior thinking about attending a four year college should take the SAT test, as most four year colleges and some two year schools require your scores for admission.”

Finn also encourages juniors to take the test in the spring of their junior year, allowing for early college applications and an opportunity for some students to retake the test.

Senior Madison Welsted recommends that if you’re taking it twice, study from your past mistakes on the test with Khan Academy practice.

For those students who have yet to take the test, Welsted says “see guidance to get a fee waiver if you’re eligible, and don’t stress it. Get lots of sleep and eat breakfast so you can do your best.”
