By Gehrig Dibble/ Junior Writer

Spring sports have just started up. Things are about to get into full swing for Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, and Track and Field.

Here is a recap on how they are all doing so far this year:

The Softball team started their season 1-0 after a 9-5 win against Lackawanna Trail. Abigail Laude pitched for the Raiders: tossing all 7 innings whilst recording 12 strikeouts and only allowing 5 hits for the Lion’s offense.  The offense was led by Freshman Hailey Carpennetti delivering a 3 run home run.  Their current record is 1-2. Senior Kendall Farthing, Senior Leigha McCain, Senior Madison Makosky, and Junior Bella Shea all have recorded multi-hit games. They will play Carbondale on Monday April 15 to try to pick up a win in the league.
