This is homecoming week at Blue Ridge High School, October 16-21.

The overall theme for the week is Jukebox Jams with each day representing a musical genre, evening activities include a badminton tournament, a dodgeball tournament, drive-in movie, pink-out, senior night volleyball, soccer tailgate finishing up with the homecoming dance on Saturday October 21. 

Days themes:

Monday October 16: All-Country

Tuesday October 17: 80’s Jams

Wednesday October 18: 90’s Grunge

Thursday October 19: Jam in Pink

Friday October 20: Class Color Day

Saturday October 21: HOMECOMING DANCE

Evening Event Details:

Monday October 16: Badminton Tournament at 7 p.m.

Tuesday October 17: Dodgeball Tournament at 7 p.m.

Wednesday October 18: Drive In Movie at 7 p.m.

Thursday October 19: Pink Out/Senior Night Soccer Volleyball – JV at 5 p.m., Varsity at 6 p.m.

Friday October 20: Soccer Tailgate/Senior Night For Soccer – Tailgate – 3:30-5:30 p.m. Game Starts at 6 p.m.

Saturday October 21: HOMECOMING DANCE, 7-10 p.m.

Sign up for the badminton and dodgeball tournaments will be outside the cafeteria at high school lunch up until the day of the tournament.

On Friday October 20, there will be a pep rally, but no powder-puff game due to the problems in the past. However, there will be an activity after the pep rally, which will be class volleyball. Each grade will have a volleyball game will play against the other grades. 

Within the week, each grade will receive points for dressing up which will be included in the pep rally totals to win the traditional spirit stick and the overall pep rally.
