Sophomore Connor Cranage is in his second year playing varsity basketball. He is a starter for most varsity games and #5 on the court. Connor makes about 7 to 10 shots a game.
When asked why he was interested in the sports he plays, Connor stated that “My parents introduced me to sports at a young age.” He has been playing basketball since he was seven years old. Connor’s favorite coach is Wes Parks.
Connor’s favorite sports are basketball and volleyball. Connor’s favorite part about sports is that, “Playing allows me to forget about problems I’m facing.”
Connor has played my sports including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. Connor’s favorite quote from a coach is, “If you are afraid to fail, you will never do the thing you are capable of doing.” This was said by John Wooden. John Wooden was an American basketball coach who directed teams of the University of California at Los Angeles to 10 National Collegiate Athletic Association championships in 12 seasons
Connor expresses he looks up to his Mother. A quote Connor lives by is, “I can do all the things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
