Brown’s Thoughts On Senior Class

“Thoughts On Senior Class” is a Q and A segment on the Raider Reader. It is all about commonly asked questions on this years senior class. Questions will be asked to many teachers and staff in Blue Ridge High School.

Miss. Brown

Role(s): English and History Teacher

Have you had members of the senior class throughout all four years of their high school careers?:

“No, but I have had Kyle Maginely for his sophomore, junior, and senior year. I also had a group of students two years in a row.”

Do you think the senior class is ready to graduate and move on to more schooling or career opportunities?:

“For the most part, yes.”

Is it sad to watch them go?:

“Yes. I have a special relationship with many of the students in this class, but I am proud to see them graduate and do great things.”

Is there some senior class members you’re gonna miss more than others?:

“There was a crew called “The Lunch Bunch.” We went through good and bad. I will miss our conversations and laughs.”

What are some of your favorite memories from or with this year’s senior class?:

“Prom, Lunch Bunch/lunch conversations, and sharing Mr. Bett’s videos with my AP United States History kids.”

Anything else you’d like to add about this year’s senior class, or advice for next year’s upcoming senior class?:

“Enjoy the small moments and build relationships with others because they matter.”

Peyton Gelinger is a senior in High School. She is a player for the blue ridge Lady raiders varsity  volleyball team and a competitive dancer. When she is not busy doing her school work along with sports Peyton loves to spend time with her family and friends. She planes to attend college to major is Sociology / Human services At Indiana University Of Pennsylvania.
