I surveyed 37 students in Blue Ridge High School on who their favorite teacher is. The results are in, and I don’t think anyone will be too surprised.
Greg Bitner, Blue Ridge’s beloved history teacher takes the cake for the high school’s favorite teacher. I decided to do a feature interview with Bitner, which you can find below.
An Interview with Mr. Bitner
Hannah McCarthy: How do you feel about being voted the most favorite teacher at Blue Ridge?
Mr. Bitner: I am flattered that there are students that would vote that way.
Hannah McCarthy: Did you expect this compliment?
Mr. Bitner: I did not, I actually thought Mrs. Bailey would win.
Hannah McCarthy: How do you feel about your students? Do you actually like them?
Mr. Bitner: Yes, I like most of the students I have. They keep life interesting. Everyday is a new discussion with them.”
Hannah McCarthy: If you could be any animal what would you want to be?
Mr. Bitner: I would like to be a bear. I have no idea why, I just like bears.”
Hannah McCarthy: If you weren’t a teacher what else would you want to do for a living?
Mr. Bitner: I thought about possibly going to law school.
Hannah McCarthy: What’s your favorite food?
Mr. Bitner: Honestly, I think pizza would be my favorite food.
Hannah McCarthy: What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mr. Bitner: Peanut butter ripple, from a place called Montdale Dairy, is my favorite ice-cream.”
