I have taught at Western Wayne High School since 2005. I was also an adjunct professor at Keystone College.

What subject(s) do you teach? What grades?

This year I am teaching Life Science, Biology, and Environmental Science and I teach grades 7-12.

What made you want to become a teacher?

When I was in high school I wanted a career that involved helping others and I majored in Biology/Pre-Medicine in college. However, a social work job working with abused people made me realize that people with a post high school education had more options out of bad situations. This is why I became a teacher. I want to help others gain the tools to continue on their education so they have more options. To me, options mean freedom.
