Do you have someone in your life who needs some appreciation? This Valentines’ Day, Blue Ridge’s High School Student Council has the solution for all of you best friends, lovers, and secret admirers who don’t know what to get for that special someone… Flowers!

When can I buy them?………. February 6th through February 9th during middle school and high school lunches
Where can I buy them?………. Outside of the cafeteria
How much do they cost?……… 1 carnation and card for $2.00
2 carnations and card(s) for $3.00
3 carnations and card(s) for $4.00
1 rose, a card, and candy for $5.00
Roses only come in red, but you can choose the color of your carnations; pink, red, or white.
You can also choose your card designs and sayings! Sayings include, “Are you from Starbucks? Because I like you a latte.” “Roses are red, Violets are blue, if you were a flower, I’d pick you.” Like it simple? You can also get one that just says, “Happy Valentines’ Day!”
Sales end on February 9th! Stop outside the cafeteria and get a flower for that special someone.
Morgan Mansfield is a second year journalism student, taking on her junior year of high school. She spends most of her free time singing, playing, or writing music.
