Success on Senior Night

October 9th was a big night for varsity soccer. They pulled out a win over the Western Wayne Wildcats on their senior night, with a score of 3-1. Honoring their 3 seniors, Ben Bleck, Cameron Franks, and manager Morgan Mansfield, it was a night filled with great appreciation for their years of determination, hard work, and dedication.

Starting off the game with a corner kick by Garrett Conklin, senior Cameron Franks heads in a goal in the first 19 minutes. At half, the Wildcats caught up with a goal, tying the score 1-1. The Raiders pushed forward with senior Ben Bleck scoring ain the 55th minute, taking the lead, and then again with junior, David Wolfe, scoring the third and final goal of the game.

As the season comes close to an end, the Raiders maintain a record of 8-4-2

Breanna Post is a first-year journalism student, taking on her junior year of high school. She is an active member of National Honor Society, and plays varsity volleyball and softball. She plans to go to college and have a career as a forensic pathologist, studying hard in her classes to get her there.
