“You may delay, but time will not.” -Benjamin Franklin
The quote from Benjamin Franklin stood out to William and helped him get through his high school career. He explained that, “the quote means a lot to me because you may think you have of all the time in the world, but you really don’t. So work hard and make the best of it.”
William Rudick is planning on attending a two year college to earn a degree in Welding. He is looking to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology or Northampton Community College. He anticipates that his years after high school will come with great change. As he will leave behind old friends, he hopes to make new ones. His dream job includes anything involving using his hands, but more specifically, becoming a welder at the Nuclear Power Plant in Berwick, Pennsylvania.
During high school, Rudick has participated in band, Envirothon, yearbook club, and played on the Sabers football team. He is also a member of Boy Scouts of America and is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout.
His advice for the underclassmen is, “Don’t give up. You may feel like you’re going downhill, but honestly if I can do it you can do it!”
