If you’ve been in the halls of Blue Ridge, odds are you’ve seen T.J. Hand, whether it’s him sporting his bunny t-shirt, or rocking his Abraham Lincoln top hat. But what you may not know about Hand is his dream to pursue a career in architectural engineering.
Hand is undecided on which college he will be attending, but will definitely pursue his dream career. He was inspired to pursue architectural engineering by watching Bob the Builder as a child. He doesn’t plan on participating in any extracurricular activities due to wanting to”focus on studying.”
Hand realizes that his future will be a “hard road,” but he knows that he’ll “get through it.”
Hand’s fondest memory while attending Blue Ridge would be the Gettysburg trip. It was when he was “first inspired to impersonate Abe Lincoln.”
His advice to underclassmen is, “Try your hardest, and believe in yourself.”
