“Dream on no matter what life gives you, put through to what you have been dreaming for.”-Unknown
When senior Piper Welch graduates soon from Blue Ridge, she has a plan for what’s to come next in her life. Welch is planning on going to college to study early childhood education. Welch enjoys helping out with children and making them happy. She wants to help build their education, and she believes that childhood education would be the perfect path for her.
During her time at Blue Ridge, Welch has participated in Softball since she was very young. Welch says even though she is not going to play softball in college, she will still continue to play whenever she has a chance to play a game.
Welch knows that going to college next year will be different. She is hopeful that COVID-19 won’t affect her college experience, but she understands the cautions that have to be taken.
Welch would like to tell the underclassmen, “No matter how hard times get never give up, and make sure to work hard for good grades. Even if it means to take the extra step to get yourself to where you need to, then do it. It will help you with your future and better yourself.”
