“Be the reason someone smiles today.”
With Madison Lord’s senior year quickly ending, she does not have definite plans. She says that she plans on attending college, though as of right now, her major is still undecided. She does know, however, that her dream job involves something to do with animals and/or kids since she loves working with them both so much. Another possible interest of hers is working in the medical field.
Lord is not sure if she will participate in any sports or activities in college, but she is hoping that something will interest her and she will join, since getting involved in social activities or groups would be an interesting experience for her in the future. As for high school, she is a basketball cheerleader for the boys’ basketball team. It takes a great deal of commitment and practice for Madison as a cheerleader, but that does not stop her from enjoying her role.
In the years to come, Madison anticipates that college will be more challenging, but also more interesting than high school. She is looking forward to learning more about what she is truly interested in as well as finding and focusing on what her passions are while taking college classes.
If Lord was to give any advice to the underclassmen, it would be, “Take your years of school very seriously. Pay attention and get good grades, but enjoy the time you have, since these will be the best years of your life.”
