Senior Feature: Garrett Peters

By: Sarah Marble/Content Editor

“Sing like Cash, play like Waylon, and party like Willie.” -Unknown

Throughout his high school experience, Garrett Peters has been involved in playing football and has participated in showing dairy cows in 4-H. After high school, he is anticipating joining the Marines or the workforce. His dream jobs include driving trucks for farms or becoming a livestock agent.

Peters anticipates that the next few years after high school will involve “a lot more waking up to reality; it will not be like high school at all.” He feels that it will be different, as you won’t have to work so hard to “show people that you’re the right person for the job.”

He advises to the underclassmen to “enjoy school while you’re still there because these are the best years of your life.”
