“If you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right. It’s all a mindset.”
Senior, Devon Bailey is more than ready to graduate. Bailey has been in band since fifth grade, and part of the drum line for the last two years. In case you didn’t already pick up on the musical theme, he is the drummer for local band, Altitude Rising.
Bailey plans to “start up a local recording studio, or at least work at one,” if he can’t be “a traveling musician.” He will be attending Full Sail University to major in music production, but will not be participating in any extracurricular activities. His dream job would be a “drummer in a tour band.”
His favorite memories from high school are from the time he spent at his “junior year lunch table.”
Bailey anticipates the next few years will be “relieving, but stressful in a different way.”
His advice to underclassmen is to “follow your dreams, unless those dreams lead you off of a cliff.”
