RR: What are your plans after high school?
To attend Mansfield University and major in psychology.
RR: Will you be participating in any sports or clubs at college?
Yes, I will be continuing my softball career.
RR: What others clubs or organizations have you participated in?
Leo Club, National Honors Society, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Softball (2nd Place District Champions)
RR: How do you anticipate the next few years will be compared to high school?
I believe there will be many differences when I attend college. I will be leaving home, therefore I will be completely accountable for all that I do.
RR: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
To never procrastinate and to take their time and enjoy the moments they have. Try not to take things for granted.
RR: If you could have your dream job, what would it be?
To be a social worker, working with kids and young adults.
Kyra Powell is a senior at Blue Ridge, who will have been in 16 musicals by the time she graduates! Kyra enjoys singing, playing guitar, piano, ukulele, and going outside. After high school, Kyra plans on moving to Florida where she can spend more time outside with her family (where there’s never snow!)
