“Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.”- Ella Fitzgerald
Breanna Post, a senior at Blue Ridge, already has most of her post-high school paths set up. She plans on going to college to earn a bachelors degree in biology, then head to medical school in hopes of becoming a forensic pathologist, which is her dream job. While working for her degree, she will possibly be participating in volleyball, but she isn’t positive. While she is unsure about her college extracurricular activities, she has participated in many throughout her years at Blue Ridge. Breanna has been a part of Leo Club, journalism, and treasurer for science club for 1 year; volleyball for 4 years, playing varsity for her team for 3 years; softball for 4 years, playing varsity for all 4 years; and band for 3 years. She has also been a part of National Honors Society, and received high honor roll.
Breanna believes the next few years in college compared to high school will be “more fast pace and more beneficial because I will be working toward my career end goal.” Her advice for this years underclassman is “indulge in the moments when you can, time flies.”
