“Live everyday, Laugh every moment, and Love every second of it.”
Ashley Torres is a very busy senior. She is a varsity athlete, has been taking rigorous classes from 6th grade on, is involved with a plentiful amount of clubs and organizations, and even holds a part time job during the school year.
Torres has played varsity softball, volleyball, and basketball through her years of high school. She has also participated in Student Council, LEO Club, Geocaching, Prom Committee, the Science Club, and National Honor Society.
After High School, Torres aspires to have a career as Physical Therapist. She is looking to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at a university that offers a six and a half year program. In college, Torres is planning to play either Division III or club basketball as well as joining other clubs, activities, and volunteer work. Her dream job includes to run her own Physical Therapy clinic and to become a girls’ basketball coach.
Torres foresees that the next few years “will definitely be a new and difficult experience,” but she is fully ready to head into my college life. Advice that Torres gives to the underclassmen is to, “enjoy your high school years and gain good relationships with your family, peers, and teachers. They will always support and help you throughout high school.”
