Hellstead Manor Now Open For The Season

By: Peyton Gelinger/Junior Writer

Hellstead Manor is a haunted attraction close to Blue Ridge. The Manor is run by Eric Lusk, a Blue Ridge alumni and Emmy Award winning FX makeup artist who has worked on many television shows and feature films. The Manor was also rated #8 must see haunts in PA by the scare factor.

One special thing about the Manor is all of the original content, including a back story of the house, which is believed to actually be haunted. Participants are able to learn a little bit about the house’s history while waiting in line for the walk through. “There are no clowns, no chain saws, it’s all original,” stated owner Eric Lusk. “This season is going to be epic!”

This year the haunted attraction expanded itself, now including a haunted trail through the woods called “Wretched Woods.”

The Manor opened on September 13th, and will be open until October 27th every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. The attraction opens at 7:00 pm each night, but closes at 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 10:00 pm on Sundays.

The Manor is located at 630 Harmony Road, Hallstead PA. Tickets for the Manor are $25 for a normal ticket and $30 for a VIP ticket, and all parking is free. If you would like more information you can go to their website Hellstead Manor, or check them out on Facebook
