On Thursday, February 14, 2019 the Bridgewater Church paid a visit to the staff here at Blue Ridge. The church delivered care packages filled with many goodies for the teachers. Each “thank you” bag contained boxes of tissues, bottles of hand sanitizer, cleansing wipes, command strips, permanent markers, gift cards to Dunkin’ Donuts, and a handwritten note expressing their thanks. They didn’t stop there. They also provided faculty members with a lunch. The faculty room was filled with subs, chips, water, and cookies.
Bridgewater has been providing teachers with the care packages for three years now. Each year brings some new items that the staff just adores.
Spanish teacher, Lucrecia Jesse expressed her thanks by saying, “I’m very grateful and thankful that the community appreciates what we do for its children.”
