Boys Basketball First Game

By: Peyton Gelinger/Sophomore Writer

The Blue Ridge Raiders had their first League game of the season on January 2, 2019. They lost in a very close game to Mountain View, with the score being 63-59. They put up a hard fight the whole game and played to the best of their abilities. It was a very intense game with lots of fans and cheerleaders keeping the energy up high, along with lots of school spirit throughout the game.

Senior, Kaleb Folk scored 21 points, Senior, Sam Cosmello scored 14 points, Sophomore, Carson Koehler scored 8 points, and Junior, Ben Bleck scored 5 points.

It was a great game to start off this years JV and Varsity boys basketball season. If you would like to see a schedule of when all the home and away games are you an find them on Best of luck to the Raiders as they continue the rest of their season!
