Senior Feature: Ben Bleck

By: Erin Houlihan/Senior Feature Editor

“Work Harder – Get Better”

Ben’s high school career at Blue Ridge is coming to an end quicker than expected. Ben will miss all of his teachers here at Blue Ridge because they always took the time out of their days to make sure Ben was successful and understanding what was being taught. He can’t imagine finding college professors that could care more than his high school teachers did.

Ben is very active at Blue Ridge, playing volleyball, soccer, and basketball. He also has participated in SADD, NHS, Leo Club, Prom Committee, and Geocaching.

After high school, Ben plans to attend college and major in civil engineering. Ben’s dream job is to work as a civil engineer in a sports construction firm building sports complexes. He also plans on staying active in college and participating in club sports.

Ben’s advice for the underclassmen would be “Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Join clubs, play sports, hang out with friends. Enjoy every minute of it, because it was a really quick 4 years.”
